How Does It Work?

This app is a digital interpretation of the Camera Lucida, a tool used by artists for centuries. To use Da Vinci Eye, simply suspend your iPhone or iPad above or in front of your canvas using a stand or any household objects like a tall glass.

AR Mode Requirements

To access AR mode, your device must be equipped with an A10x or A11 processor and above. We recommend the following devices:

AR &amp; Classic Mode

In AR mode, your drawings are anchored to an object in the real world, allowing for movement of both your canvas and phone while maintaining alignment between the drawing and projected image.

In contrast, classic mode operates similarly to a conventional art projector, meaning that moving either your phone or canvas will cause misalignment between the drawing and the projected image.

Although AR mode is particularly useful when working on an easel, classic mode can achieve similar results in most cases.
